Body DangerousA contemporary exhibition and live programme on body honesty, censorship, and the politics of being seen.Body Dangerous is a day art exhibition (Private View on Saturday, 5:30 PM) that explores how and at what point human bodies can become labelled as dangerous, where power reshapes what is permissible to be seen, said, and felt. The exhibition brings together artists from diverse disciplines, including photography, painting, model-making, and mixed media. The work examines the gaze in its cruel, kind, responsive, neutral, and fearful forms, and asks what remains when bodies are no longer sterile for comfort, exposing harm already present in culture, institutions, and ordinary language.Over time, starting as protection against weather and the evaluative gaze, clothing can become a means of identity and self-expression, yet it also remains a mechanism of implicit control, manipulating how we perceive, what we assume, and how safe it is to be seen. You are invited to join the journey where you can discover how domination can be dressed as ‘safety’, and how censorship is deployed as a weapon to suppress often disruptive honesty. It traces carceral logic and panopticism into daily life, where shame becomes collective and personal self-surveillance.Curated byErotic Art London Exhibition https://www.instagram.com/eroticartlondon/andSasha Jolliffe Yasawi https://www.instagram.com/sasha_jolliffe/TicketsTicket Taylor (link will be available shortly)Date and timePrivate View: Saturday 28 March 2026, 5:30 PM
